It is very easy to ignore the bad things that are happening around you and to justify that indifference to yourself with phrases like “Oh, but there’s nothing I could do!” There is always something you can do if you really want to do it! A lady was walking along the beach of Lake Ontario in Canada when she noticed a small mouse had fallen from an icy wall into the extremely cold lake water! The tiny creature then went through great struggle to swim back to the shore, but during that process it had wasted all of its energy and couldn’t move anymore.

The lady could’ve just said, “Oh, I’m sure he will be OK!” or “There’s nothing I can do to help him!” But she didn’t! She decided to take the little mouse and warm him up between her gloves. After some time the miniature rodent was warm and dry and he started moving again! The lady then found a suitable place to release him so he could get on with his life!
