this particular story is a story about Rudy, but at the same time it is also the story of millions of other dogs with the same fate as him! Rudy had a very difficult life! He had been abused and had injuries that showed he had been beaten regularly and severely. So much so that his hip was broken!

In addition to that he had also been starved, and he never saw a vet in his life which lead to him having severe ear and eye infection, worms, pneumonia, mange and other skin infections. The poor animal was so sick that nobody wanted to adopt him and the shelter had given up on trying to treat him so they put him on the death row. However, hours before he was supposed to be put down, a rescue organization saved him!
