My heart sinks every time I see a chained dog. But thank God there are still people who will go to great lengths to save these poor animals from a life of misery.
Every time we see a chained dog it absolutely breaks our heart! It is one of the saddest sights for any animal lover. To see all that vitality and strength tied with a chain, and to see those sad, heartbroken eyes of a tethered animal… Even the thought of it makes our hearts sink!Rick and Pepper had a huge fence to play in! It surrounded an entire little forest where they could run around as long as their little hearts pleased. However, there was one problem, that fence was full of holes that they would often use to escape, and as a result they were chained in a small kennel for a long time!
Luckily for these two gorgeous fellows, Coalition to Unchain Dogs raised funds with the help of Mary Craft, and they rebuilt the fence! Rick and Pepper could finally run free again! Their reaction to being unchained again was at the same time priceless and heartbreaking. Take a few minutes to watch this video and see it. It certainly brought tears to our eyes!
