When stray dogs wander near a highway it is very important to act as quickly as possible to avoid the worst to happen. That's why calls like this are a priority for the people at Hope for Paws.
In the following video they have received a call about a puppy and his mama dog. Since they were living near the highway it was clear that immediate action was required. Catching the puppy was a piece of cake, and mama was there to check what's going on. But, catching her was not so easy.
That's why Hope for Paws asked the people who had been feeding them to help. In a few minutes both the mama dog, now named Oreo, and her pup Cookie Monster were on the way to the shelter.
