Maria is a wonderful puppy with a very sad past. Her owner abandoned her while she was pregnant, when he realised that it was going to cost him 3000 dollars for a C-section to deliver her babies!

Even though she was terrified, hungry and full of infection and fleas she fought to survive! She fought for her puppies! It was a miracle that she managed to survive on her own considering that she had zero feeling in her hind legs. Luckily, she was rescued, and delivered 7 healthy puppies via C-section.
