5 Yr Old Piano Prodigy Treats A 101 Yr Old Lady To A Special Musical Performance

Ryan Wang was only five years old when he did this performance in 2013. This tiny piano prodigy from Canada gave one of his biggest fans, 101-year-old Dorothy Landry, a front-row experience to his unbelievable talent. He played “Variations on an Inner Mongolian Folk Song” for the elderly lady.

According to Landry, Wang was around three years old when they first met each other. After exchanging hugs, Landry wished Wang a good trip to China and expressed that she’d love for him to see her when he returns. That last request filled the young boy’s eyes with tears. She said she is looking forward to hearing him again. Wang has performed on The Ellen Show and also at the coveted Carnegie Hall. But this performance holds a special place in his heart. “I like playing for “Grandma Dorothy,” says Wang, “I think it makes her happy.”
