Life-Changing Surgery Gives This Old & Sick Abandoned Dog A Second Chance At Life

There are lots of dogs living on the streets. Even after they have been brought to a shelter, they aren’t treated with proper care sometimes. According to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA), almost 2.7 million animals are euthanized in shelters every single year. The video below features a story of a dog that was dumped by his family at a shelter in order to be euthanized.

Bandit the dog had an enormous tumor on one of his legs and his owners did not want to deal with it. Not only did he have a tumor, but he was also considered as a super senior dog at the shelter. Things were not looking good for Bandit. But thankfully, that’s when Howl of a Dog, a nonprofit organization, decided to intervene. They gave the pooch a surgery to remove the tumor. After he was treated, Bandit turned into a whole new dog! You won’t be able to differentiate if he is a puppy or a senior!
