She had worked hard and even lived as a beggar. Now, she was completely blind and almost deaf. Thankfully, she was about to be rescued.

This video shows how she was rescued. She was taken far away in a truck. The journey was taking a toll on her. It was very hot, and rescuers had to keep washing her to keep her cool. They tried to make her eat, as she looked hungry. But she refused to eat anything. When they finally reached their destination, Sook-Jai was beyond happy. Look at her frolicking in the mud!
