This video shows footage of a birth of a Sumatran orangutan called Kea that was caught live on video by the staff of The Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust. This organization focuses on conservation and saving species from extinction. It provides a sanctuary and breeding center for all sorts of endangered species. It was founded by Gerald Durrell as a charity institution in 1963.

It is a never before seen video and it is unbelievable to watch that adorable baby’s birth. But what’s even more phenomenal is the reaction of the mother orangutan to her baby. Some part maybe a little gross to your taste, but nonetheless, this is beautiful.
